Le Manach - Milgate

For almost two centuries, Le Manach has been known as an editor and manufacturer of textile reproductions that remain faithful to old documents, preserving originality as well as quality.

Descending from a long tradition of silk weaving in France’s Touraine region, the factory developed significantly with the invention of the mechanical Jacquard machine that revolutionised the textile industry in the early 19th century.

Fabrics

Le Manach reproduces textiles from archives, the oldest of which highlight rare skills that date back to the Renaissance. Through its silks, brocatelles, damask and exceptionally designed velvets, the company’s love for the traditions of refined French heritage and craftsmanship is evident, and a pleasure that all can share.
